Blake 2.0 | Digital Reading Project

The Blake 2.0 | Digital Reading Project is a sub-site of the Blake 2.0 network dedicated to collecting and publishing original research into the ways that Blake is read in the twenty-first century. Web 2.0 technologies and the rapid spread of online use provides a remarkable opportunity to examine ways in which readers engage with texts. As such, the Blake 2.0 | Digital Reading Project will collect and provide data on reading habits, conducting surveys and collating information from other sources for scholars and researchers interested in the ways in which Blake's art and poetry are used in everyday situations.

Blake Quotation Survey

"Great things are done when Men & Mountains meet"

The first survey on the site is a simple form to collect information on how visitors use Blake quotations online. It has been set up to gather quantitative data on Blake and will be used in conjunction with data mining from Twitter (to be followed by other sites), information from which will be posted regularly to this site.

The aim of the survey is to find out how many people post Blake quotations, where these are posted and where sourced, and if there are any particular favourites. It is a very short survey and should take 5-10 minutes to complete.

This survey is anonymous, and no personal details are recorded although your IP address will be stored to filter multiple responses from the same source.
